Retro Pro Audio LLC (RPA) Shipping Terms
 

  • Arrangements for shipping need to be approved in writing by RPA before items can be sent to RPA.
  • UPS Ground Shipping is recommended.
  • Shipping fees and shipping insurance fees for Items sent by the customer to RPA and return of the item to the customer are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Shipping Insurance is required for the replacement cost of the item.
  • Warranty repair shipping costs will be covered by the customer.
  • Please plan to use a sturdy shipping container that can be reused for return shipment. If a replacement shipping container is needed due to initial shipping damage, this cost will be covered by the customer.
  • On receipt of the customer items by RPA, photos will be taken of the items as well as confirmation of the unit serial numbers to document the condition of the items upon receipt and logging the specific units to customer ownership (we often have multiple customer items of the same model at a given time).  
  • Customer Items will also be tested upon receipt to document their current state including any identified issues and faults.

 

Packing Instructions

  • Packing your items in a box within a box is the best method 
  • Use sufficient packing material (bubble wrap, packing peanuts, foam)
  • Avoid having any voids in the box to prevent the item from shifting around in the box and degrading the packing material.
